Doli or Palki (डोली or पालकी ) is a Hindi languages word which means palanquin in English language . Every year the statue of Lord Kedarnath communicate in a palanquin during opening and closing date of temple door. Kedarnath shrine close every year for 6 month in winter. Kedarnath Palanquin or Kedarnath Doli is brought to Ukhimath for rest of 6 month.
